PowerBuilder Developer required for a client that is one of the world's largest finance companies and a major producer and marketer of more than 85 commodities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, documentation, implementation, and deployment coordination of changes to applications developed in PowerBuilder.
Duties
* Maintaining and enhancing client server applications in PowerBuilder and Oracle
* Implementing business logic at the database level, particularly in Oracle PL/SQL
* Performance tuning of database queries
* Refactoring existing application logic
* Translating business requirements into technical specifications
* Providing 3rd level production support
* Work in agile software development frameworks (e.g. SCRUM)
Requirements
* Proven experience with PowerBuilder, SQL and PL/SQL
* Fluent English
* Educated to Degree level
